Weekly wisdom

Attention equals power. When I tell this to people they all nod approvingly. But in actuality not many people are aware the things they give attention to in their day-to-day lives.
First of all: they give way too little attention to their bodies. And secondly: way too much to the destructivity that surrounds them. Then I hear the people say that this isn’t the case, which makes me ask you: “What is your definition of destructivity?”
To me it is (without judgment) everything that is generated by the darkness: resistance, injustice (also inflicting injustice upon someone and being treated in an unfair way, or the mere witnessing of injustice), constriction, separateness (including exclusion), mistrust (feeling it and being mistrusted), disbelief (experiencing it and not being believed yourself), worthlessness (feeling worthless, treating something/someone in a neglecting way or making someone feel worthless), superiority (the moment you judge), guilt (feeling guilty or making someone else feel guilty), powerlessness, miscommunication, lack (also falling short, depriving someone else), rejection (rejecting or being rejected), etc… These are the day-to-day stories many people get involved in – especially those who watch the ‘news’.
When you know that what you share your attention/power with becomes stronger, my next question to you is: “How do you know when you share your attention with destructivity?” The answer is very simple: the feeling makes you aware of this by the restlessness in your body, the absurdly high pace of your thoughts and the unpleasant situations, people and events that are present in your life.
What to do now?
Just direct your attention towards what you wish to experience in this world: everything that activates pleasant emotions within your system. Emotions such as: connectedness, freedom, power, communication, warmth, self-worth, trust, belief, equality, winning, abundance, etc… This will attract more and more of everything pleasant into your life and in the world.
We are the creators of our own life. Live the life you wish to live, not the life the outside world puts upon you.
Experiencing difficulties with this? Then you can learn how to transform the emotional charge of your body by feeling it, independently from the brain. And then you experience – consciously – the magnificently powerful creative force that you are!
