Shiatsu is a Japanese manual therapy
The literal translation of of the Japanese word shiatsu is ‘pressure by fingers’.
Although this massage technique springs from ancient Chinese medicine (+/- 400 BC), it became widely spread in Japan after the 6th century. The therapy form underwent further adjustments and fine-tunings, bringing the ‘do-in’ into existence, and eventually leading to the most famous form: Shiatsu.
During a session, the therapist’s hands apply a certain extent of pressure in order to activate and balance the body’s life force. Needless to say this has a tremendously beneficial effect on one’s well-being. Treat yourself to this relaxed way of bringing more flow into your body, and into your life.
During a Live Love Touch session you lie flat on the floor, fully clothed – it is therefore recommended to wear loose-fitting and comfortable clothing.
