We, as souls, came to planet earth to have experiences which we couldn’t have in a non-physical state. Here are some practical examples:
– separateness: missing someone
– lack: lack of money, time,…
– constriction: the feeling of being stuck
Etc…
The funny thing about this all is that when the ego governs your life (ie: when you use the brain without also activating your feeling capacity) it will do everything within its reach to run away from these experiences. This is because the ego isn’t able to feel, so it can’t find a way to handle these emotions. Secondly, the ego cannot share the energy it daily requires. There’s a reason to why it’s called “ego-istical”.
This causes all the mentally-driven people to end up in the same situations, over and over again, so these experiences can repeat themselves.
You then hear them say things like “I’ve given this a place”, and they indeed did: they gave it a place within their (biological) system, so it’s actually still there.
This cycle goes on, life after life, generation after generation, until the captain of the body, the soul, has been given the chance to experience this.
And that’s not something you can do mentally, you can only do it through the feeling.
My recommendation to you is therefore: train yourself in using both operating systems of your body – thinking and feeling – in an equal way, and also independently from each other. This will create a shift in the ongoing cycle of unpleasant experiences.
And there’s even more to it: you create room for a variety of pleasant experiences – that you already know on an unconscious level, and are eagerly wanting to experience.
